Jessica Biel will play Vera Miles in the film “Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho,” Deadline reported and Entertainment Weekly has confirmed. Scarlett Johansson has been cast as Janet Leigh in the film and Anthony Hopkins will play Hitchcock. Shooting begins in April.

Jessica Biel gives herself one day a week to eat whatever she wants to avoid going “nutso”.

The stunning star is conscious of her diet, which includes plenty of fruit and vegetables.

However, Biel gives herself one day a week to sway from her healthy eating routine.

“When I’m working and I eat healthily all week, then I give myself one day – usually Sunday – when I eat just what I want. You have to, otherwise your mind goes a little nutso,” she laughed to Us Weekly.

The actress also exercises to achieve her enviably toned figure, and has revealed her workout secrets.

Biel – who famously walked to the top of Mt Kilimanjaro in 2009 – enjoys outdoor workouts with biking and hiking.

She says the al fresco exercising benefits her body and mind.

“When you get out into the wilderness and strip [away] all of the stuff in your everyday life, you really gain a great respect for your own life, simply as it is,” she explained.

“Needing things starts to feel like, Oh, I kind of have everything, don’t I? It’s pretty great.”

The A-Team star also does walking lunges and light weights to achieve her fit physique. She adds yoga to the mix twice a week to lengthen her muscles.

“I like to do a couple of yoga classes during the week,” she said.

“Yoga for me is more of an elongating thing.”

Ever since rumors started swirling about Justin Timberlake proposing to his longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel, we have been waiting for confirmation from the couple.

Well we have finally received that confirmation, but it doesn’t come from either The Social Network star or the New Year’s Eve star. Rather, it comes from Timberlake’s grandma!

Although he had asked her not to talk about the engagement “until after the holidays,” Sadie Bomar told Gossip Cop, “He called me on Christmas Day and told me he’s engaged.”

If there’s any question about whether or not Biel will be welcomed into the family with open arms, Bomar assures “the family loves Jessie… she’s a very sweet girl.”

Sources told Us Weekly that Timberlake, 30, popped the question to Biel, 29, during their annual vacation to Jackson, Wyoming.

They were first linked in 2007, but broke up for a few months in 2011. When they got back together, sources say “they had a conversation about taking the next step.”

During the time they split, it was evident they still had love for each other, as Timberlake told Vanity Fair “She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, okay? … I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me – for instance, her.”

Jessica Biel has said that she would have loved to star in The Notebook.

The actress revealed that she auditioned several times to play The Notebook‘s lead character Allie Hamilton, a wealthy young woman who falls for a boy (Ryan Gosling) from the wrong side of the tracks.

Biel recalled that getting passed over by The Notebook by director Nick Cassavetes was especially tough because she truly loved the story of star-crossed lovers.

She told Elle: “The Notebook – that’s one that I wanted so badly. I was in the middle of shooting Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and I auditioned with Ryan Gosling in my trailer – covered in blood. Nick Cassavetes put me through the wringer in an interesting, excitingly creative way. But there’s a million that get away.”

Rachel McAdams went on to land the starring role in The Notebook, earning critical acclaim and award nominations for her performance.

Biel also explained that she’s hoping to explore other interests besides acting as she gets older.

“I’d love to write. I wrote a lot of short stories and poetry when I was a kid,” the star said. “That was my creative outlet. I’ve written a short film, and I [still] write poetry.”

Biel next stars opposite Josh Duhamel and Ashton Kutcher in New Year’s Eve, which opens on December 9 in the US and the UK.
